一、考試性質(zhì)、目的與要求
《翻譯碩士英語(yǔ)》是翻譯碩士專(zhuān)業(yè)學(xué)位（MTI）研究生入學(xué)考試的專(zhuān)業(yè)基礎(chǔ)課考試科目，其目的是考查學(xué)生是否具備進(jìn)行MTI學(xué)習(xí)所要求的單項(xiàng)或綜合英語(yǔ)語(yǔ)言水平。
《翻譯碩士英語(yǔ)》要求考生具備扎實(shí)的英語(yǔ)語(yǔ)言基本功，能夠認(rèn)知15,000個(gè)以上的英文詞匯，掌握8,000個(gè)以上的基本詞匯及其常用搭配；能夠熟練掌握基本英語(yǔ)語(yǔ)法、語(yǔ)言結(jié)構(gòu)以及文體修辭等語(yǔ)言知識(shí)；具備較為嫻熟的英語(yǔ)交際能力，具有較強(qiáng)的英漢互譯能力和英語(yǔ)閱讀理解能力，以及較為得體的文體寫(xiě)作能力等。
二、考試范圍與內(nèi)容概要
（一）詞匯語(yǔ)法
要求考生能夠認(rèn)知15,000個(gè)以上的英文詞匯，掌握8,000個(gè)以上的積極詞匯，正確熟練運(yùn)用基本詞匯及其常用搭配?？忌軌蚓哂性鷮?shí)的英語(yǔ)語(yǔ)法、語(yǔ)言結(jié)構(gòu)以及文體修辭等語(yǔ)言知識(shí)，具備嫻熟規(guī)范地運(yùn)用英語(yǔ)進(jìn)行交際的能力。
（二）英漢互譯
要求考生具有良好的外語(yǔ)基本功，掌握相當(dāng)?shù)脑~匯量，具備較好的英漢雙語(yǔ)表達(dá)和轉(zhuǎn)換能力，具備一定的中外文化以及政治、經(jīng)濟(jì)、法律、科技等方面的背景知識(shí)，能夠運(yùn)用翻譯理論和技巧，將不同文體風(fēng)格的原文語(yǔ)言譯成目的語(yǔ)言，譯文要求忠實(shí)原意，語(yǔ)言流暢，表達(dá)適切。
（三）閱讀理解
要求考生能夠讀懂一般英美報(bào)刊雜志上的新聞報(bào)道、科普文獻(xiàn)、歷史傳記、文學(xué)作品等各類(lèi)文體的文章。能夠理解其主旨與大意，分析事實(shí)與細(xì)節(jié)；能夠理解其字面意義與隱含意義，作出判斷與推理；能夠分析其思想觀點(diǎn)、語(yǔ)篇結(jié)構(gòu)、語(yǔ)言特點(diǎn)與修辭手法。能夠根據(jù)閱讀內(nèi)容自覺(jué)調(diào)整閱讀速度與閱讀技巧。
（四）英文寫(xiě)作
要求考生根據(jù)所給題目及要求撰寫(xiě)一篇不少于400詞的英文作文。體裁為記敘文、說(shuō)明文或議論文。要求語(yǔ)言通順，用詞精當(dāng)，結(jié)構(gòu)合理，邏輯嚴(yán)謹(jǐn)，文體得體。
三、考試形式與試卷結(jié)構(gòu)
（一）試卷滿(mǎn)分值及考試時(shí)間
本試卷滿(mǎn)分為100分，考試時(shí)間為180分鐘。
（二）答題方式
答題方式為閉卷、筆試。試卷由試題和答題紙組成；答案必須寫(xiě)在答題紙相應(yīng)的位置上。
（三）試卷內(nèi)容結(jié)構(gòu)
本考試包括四個(gè)部分：詞匯語(yǔ)法（10分）、英漢互譯（20分）、閱讀理解（40分）、英文寫(xiě)作（30分）。
