Global Trade and Receivables Finance (GTRF)

We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join this team in the role of Vice President, Global Banking Trade Sales TSC BJG. In this role, you will:
1. To understand client’s trade needs and work with product /middle office/stakeholders etc to structure and customize trade solutions
2. To work in partnership with Global Banking (GB) to develop and acquire new to trade customers, service and grow existing and up tier unprofitable relationships
3. To meet AOP target
4. To serve as Trade “relationship manager” to GB. To develop bilateral rapport and provide effective and efficient trade related transactional banking support to customer group
5. To work through branches within catchment area to drive and co-ordinate GB trade strategy
6. To live group brand values especially by thinking joined up and engage in active cross selling intra China and inter group
7. To anticipate client needs by providing feedback to client group, product team and management on emerging or changing trade trends in China and/or competitor activities that may impact GB clients
8. To analyze activity management report with the objective of migrating success and take corrective actions on issues identified
To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:
1. Bachelor degree holder with at least 5 years trade finance experience
2. Strong track record in product/transactional banking marketing or Relationship Management to institutions or corporates especially foreign multinationals or large SOEs
3. Good knowledge of basic trade products. Understanding of Guarantee, Supply Chain Finance and RMB Draft Discounting preferred
4. General credit and risk knowledge especially with a foreign bank
5. Fluent in oral & written English & Mandarin
6. Good interpersonal & influencing skills. Adaptable and able to work under pressure
